The field of engineering plays a crucial role in shaping the built environment, ensuring sustainable development and improving quality of life. Youth Month also commemorates the bravery of South Africa’s youth during the 1976 Soweto Uprising, as they advocated for equality and a better tomorrow. As future leaders, we have a responsibility to leverage our skills to create a more equitable and prosperous society.”
